The Speedmaster is one of ’s most iconic timepieces, having been a part of all six lunar missions. Taking the spirit of exploration a step further, this new Moonphase features a hand-engraved representation of the moon.
This 44.25 mm model features an opaline silvery dial, with diamond polished 18K yellow gold indexes and hands. At 6 o’clock is the accurate Moonphase indication, which features an 18K yellow gold hand-engraved moon disc, filled with enamel and sprinkled with silver powder to represent the stars.
Cased in 18K yellow gold and circled with a black ceramic bezel ring with Ceragold™ tachymeter scale , this watch is presented on a black leather strap with a polished-brushed 18K yellow gold foldover clasp.
Powering the timepiece is the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9905, which has been officially certified by METAS.
- Anti-magnetic
The movement is unaffected by exposure to strong magnetic fields, even those greater than 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).
- Chronograph
The chronograph function is a mechanism for measuring time intervals. A chronograph watch can therefore be used to time events while displaying the time like any traditional watch.

- Moonphase
A moonphase watch uses a function which tracks the phases of the moon. One lunar cycle is 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes and 2.8 seconds and includes four phases: new moon, first quarter, full moon, last quarter.
- Small seconds
A hand on a sub-dial which tracks seconds typically it completes a full rotation in one minute.
- Tachymeter
A tachymeter watch has a function for measuring speed. It is a chronograph with a graduated dial on which speed can be read in kilometres per hour based on a 1000 metre distance.
- Transparent caseback
A transparent caseback – frequently made of sapphire – makes it possible to see the movement inside the watch.
