The Speedmaster is one of ’s most iconic timepieces, having been a part of all six lunar missions. Celebrating that history, this Moonphase model enhances the classic Speedmaster design with exquisite materials and precision.
The 44.25 mm case is made from platinum-gold, while the blue ceramic bezel ring includes a brushed platinum Liquidmetal™ tachymeter scale.
The sand-blasted platinum-gold dial is brought to life by its 18K white gold indexes that are set with baguette-cut diamonds. Complementing that colour is the blue ceramic moonphase disc at 6 o’clock that features two moons in platinum Liquidmetal™. The dial is completed by a magnified hand on the date subdial as well as blackened hours, minutes and central seconds hands all with white Super-LumiNova.
Presented on a blue leather strap, the timepiece is powered by the Master Chronometer Calibre 9905, certified at the industry’s highest standard by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
- Anti-magnetic
The movement is unaffected by exposure to strong magnetic fields, even those greater than 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).
- Chronograph
The chronograph function is a mechanism for measuring time intervals. A chronograph watch can therefore be used to time events while displaying the time like any traditional watch.

A moonphase watch uses a function which tracks the phases of the moon. One lunar cycle is 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes and 2.8 seconds and includes four phases: new moon, first quarter, full moon, last quarter.

A hand on a sub-dial which tracks seconds typically it completes a full rotation in one minute.
- Tachymeter
A tachymeter watch has a function for measuring speed. It is a chronograph with a graduated dial on which speed can be read in kilometres per hour based on a 1000 metre distance.
